Companies located within the Zone can earn over $31,000 in state income hiring tax credits for each qualified employee hired to work within the Zone.
The credits, spread over five years, provide credits against total wages paid up to 150% of the current minimum wage according to the following sliding scale:

Qualifying employees include those who are classified within a qualifying group or live in a targeted area. Participants must also spend at least 90% of their work time on activities relating to your Zone business and perform at least 50% of their work within the Zone.
